For example, where certain foods are viewed as warming and nourishing while others are seen as cooling and eliminating; some foods are useful for building qi while others have blood, yang or yin building properties.

  Tui Na is a therapeutic form of massage and has been used in China for more than 2,000 years. Tui Na is a supportive to acupuncture. The technique makes use of rhythmic compression techniques along circulation pathways known as meridians as a means to restore the flow of circulation to target areas.

  Lifestyle counseling known as “right thinking” in the original Chinese medical textbooks, this is the education we provide to each patient so that they can participate in their healing process. It includes discussing and teaching relaxation techniques, therapeutic exercise, good sleep habits and any other habits or routines that a patient may need to modify or change so they can get well faster.
